So I bought this for one of my cats who is 9 years old, Finnigan, and has always been the grouchy, bully of the family. This year, we took in a very malnourished street cat. After getting her fixed and slowly introducing her into our home with other cats, Finnigan one day decided he wanted to dedicate his life to stalking her, chasing her and terrorizing her just about every second of the day. This has now been going on for a few months. We introduced her slowly but at some point he just decided, nope, I hate her, and we've been dealing with this nasty behavior ever since. I'm desperately trying everything to make this work so neither has to be re-homed. I have tried diffusers, calming sprays, extra litter boxes and water and food calming additives. Nothing works. In comes the calming cat collar. What a difference! He mellowed out and doesn't have any interest in her. Just wants to snuggle on the couch and act like a normal cat.
Now, we don't ever leave him unattended with the collar on. But when we put it on him and are home, what a sweet docile cat he becomes! Peace in the valley! If you have tried just about everything, the collar is worth a try. I'm not sure if it will be as effective at day 60 but at days 1 - 4, it's a great solution to get him to just calm the F down! When he hasn't had the collar on, he seems to go to his old ways so continual behavior modification is in his future for sure, but this at least offers a break from the nastiness and fighting. A little pricey but the effectiveness can't be denied.
Never rush cat introductions though. Always separate them first and let them get to know each other through the door, the collar isn't a substitute for a bad introduction. The collar is a good option for a cat like mine who decides later on he wants to bully and dominate.

Wow! So I got these in a moment of frustrated desperation. Feliway spray and infusers just don't really do much when you've got three floors in a big house (we just moved into this year) and you have one neurotic cat that loses her mind often and shows her displeasure with potty incidents everywhere from stress. We moved into our house and the combination of new cats, new space, and no under bed space to hide in drove her insane. She was skittish as all get out, peeing and pooping everywhere (including on furniture and beds) and running from everyone despite her strong desire for affection. I put this collar on her and at first she sulked under the table because she HATES collars in general, but after about an hour she started coming up to us, demanding attention and even going out of her way to get on the couch with my roommate who she generally runs away from. It's not like night and day, but she's clearly calmer, happier, and her purr was so loud my bf said he's never heard her be so loud before - and she LOVES him, so he would know. I can't wait to see what the long term effects are, and she doesn't seem to mind it as much as other collars as she's not rubbing up against everything in sight and clawing at it trying to get it off like she normally does. I'm so glad this came with 3 in the box and I really hope the effects last and help her find equilibrium in our new house. Will update if things change, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

I want to start off by saying that I rarely ever write these reviews, but this product works SO well for me that I wanted to share!

I got a puppy a couple of weeks ago and brought her home to a single-cat household. My cat has always been really sweet to my kids and me but pretty aggressive with other people who come into the home.

When we first brought the puppy home, she kept her space and slowly moved closer and closer. However, in the past week, she has been hunting the puppy haha. Chasing her, jumping out at her, scratching her face. I tried putting them in separate rooms, and my cat tore up my carpet trying to get to the puppy. I brought home some foster kittens and All heck was breaking out here; peeing, fighting, scratching, hissing, you name it. I couldn't take it anymore so I ordered this and another brand to test which one worked best. This one does. The other brand smelled so strong that I couldn't even be in the same room. The other brand smelled so bad even my cat vomited. BUT THIS ONE has no odor AND it does the job, lasts longer - all without the horrible smell. I love it, and peace reigns in my household now. It does take a few minutes for the effect to really set in with the kitties, so be aware of that. Kittens are now playing happily with each other. I do recommend that you keep a few extra on hand, as those little rascals can and will pull it off and good luck finding it after that, and of course, you will NOT want to run out of it as they will go back to their previous behavior when it wears off. BUT Highly recommend this product.
