Recommended by our vet, we use this collar on our cat in Florida. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, and it truly works. He's outside (fenced in) a lot, and we've never seen any fleas on him or around him. I like that it has a 'breakaway' safety feature, too. This came into play just the other day when he managed to get his I.D. tag (which is hanging from the collar) wedged in a door frame. The collar released, which kept him safe. Happily, the collar stayed intact, so we were able to simply put it back on him.

We live in the south. Fleas and ticks are an issue. Our cat stays in but our dogs go out. We still deal with flea problems but the best protection we have found are the Breeze collars.

I have a cat who is horrendously allergic to fleas to the point where he was completely covered in scabs from scratching. The fleas around here seem to be immune to the stuff you put on their neck once a month, and it really seemed to mess with his system as he always acted funky for at least a day or two after putting that stuff on him.
I was pretty nervous about this collar, since he had so much scabbing around his neck. I was afraid it would cause some kind of a reaction and make things worse. But it turns out I had nothing to worry about!
He stopped scratching and seemed to feel calm and relieved INSTANTLY. I was absolutely stunned, because nothing has ever worked this well, not even the expensive flea medicine from the vet. There was absolutely no irritation whatsoever; in fact, it seemed to help the scabs fall off and the skin heal!
He is literally a different cat! No more scratching, no more being upset, no scabs, and all his fur has grown back! He is calm and happy and social again because now he feels so much better!
